The event was led by BSP Deputy Governor Bernadette Romulo-Puyat, BSP Managing Director Rosabel B. Guerrero, Pasig City Mayor Victor Ma. Regis “Vic” N. Sotto, and Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc. President and Chief Executive Officer Robina Gokongwei-Pe.
The BSP has installed 25 CoDMs in the Greater Manila Area. CoDMs allow customers to conveniently deposit their legal tender coins to be credited to their electronic wallet (e-wallet) accounts or converted into shopping vouchers. It also supports the BSP’s Coin Recirculation program which aims to bring idle coins back in circulation to support the economic needs of the country.
